The REW Melbourne Language
Centre is located in Melbourne, the capital of Victoria
in Australia. The Melbourne Language Centre runs a nationally
accredited ELICOS program for entry to TAFE and Higher
Education. REW is part of RMIT University, Australia's
largest technology university.
Vibrant and multicultural, Melbourne is home to people
from around the world and is a friendly city for international
students. Studying in an English language environment
provides an accelerated learning experience for students.
Successful completion of REW ELICOS programs gives
students direct entry to RMIT University, TAFE and Higher
Education programs at RMIT University, Melbourne.
Students entering the Melbourne Language Centre are
assessed prior to placement in a class level. A self
assessment tool is provided for easy identification
of language training needs.
Students are responsible for obtaining and maintaining
a current visa for study in Australia.
Courses are also offered at the Melbourne Language
Centre in Teacher Training, IELTS Preparation and General
English.

Independent Learning Centre
The ILC is a self-access language-learning center where
any staff and students can take advantage of a wide rage
of language enhancement workshops and materials to improve
Chinese and English language skills in a relaxing environment.
Facilities and Resources
The ILC offers a quiet reading area and TV viewing area
where you can watch your favorite cable and local TV progammes.
You can also choose from a large variety of language learning

Award Scheme
When you have completed 30 hours of workshops and /or
independent work at the ILC from September till May, you
will be awarded with a certificate of Independent learning.
